DOHA, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Qatari beIN Sports, a network of sports channels, accused on Thursday Asian Football Confederation (AFC) of breaching a multi-million-dollar rights deal when the latter decided to stream the AFC matches to Saudi Arabia online.

AFC said on Tuesday it would stream AFC games involving Saudi teams in Saudi Arabia on its Facebook and YouTube digital channels exclusive to Saudi fans.

The beIN now holds exclusive TV rights to the matches.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Egypt have been boycotting Qatar since June 2017, accusing it of supporting terrorism. Qatar denies the claim.

BeIN continues broadcasting Saudi-based matches due to a deal for exclusive rights to eight seasons of AFC matches for the Middle East and North Africa till 2020.

The Qatari beIN Sports said it would take legal action against Saudi Arabia's television channel beoutQ which broadcasts pirated matches from beIN.

Saudi Arabia claims beoutQ is not Saudi-based.
