MOSCOW, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Russia's wheat harvest is estimated at 91.4 million tons in net weight in 2025, up 10.6 percent year on year, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said on Saturday.
Barley production saw a rise of 18.3 percent to 19.7 million tons, with oat output jumping by a quarter to 3.8 million tons and millet harvest up 8.7 percent to 3.5 million tons.
Pulse crops yielded a record 8 million tons, surging 50 percent, according to Rosstat.
The total estimated harvest of grain and pulse crops this year stands at 139.4 million tons in net weight, compared with 125.9 million tons in 2024.
Meanwhile, the potato harvest reached 19.5 million tons this year, soaring 9.4 percent from the previous year. Fruit and berry output totalled 4.3 million tons, up 8.1 percent from 2024, the Rosstat data showed. ■
